So what was for supper…?
Brilliant! So proud of myself!
Despite having no clue what to make, I ended up putting together sole-baked scalloped potatoes, which turned out perfectly. Elisheva took some before she left for her class… then, while we took the littles to swimmy lessons, she popped it back into the 375 degree oven.
For another hour.
By the time we got home, it was dark, dark brown, but not, as it turned out, in the least bit burnt. There was quite a bit of milk in the potatoes and I guess as it evaporated, it prevented the whole thing from incinerating.
So it was still in a weird way delicious.
Broccoli on the side. Steamed in the microwave, eaten, enough said.
