When she asks for a piece of paper to do some writing, then runs off to gather supplies, take out a piece of paper, fold it in eighths and thwack two staples onto one side. Then cut off any folded edges so you have… a little BOOK! A book, in the world of a five-year-old, is WAY better than a piece of paper.
