Why the weird dates? Click here to find out!
We are a Jewish family of 6 (2 parents, 4 kids) and all our meals are kosher.
Newcomers, read my MPM intro here which tells you all about who we are, or just visit my super-duper-list-imization of Everything We Eat.
Other “weekly memes” I participate in that may or may not interest you:
I usually try to get MPM done on Sunday night, but I got too wrapped up getting ready for homeschool this week and reviving my tired old sourdough starter. So that’s my excuse, and now it’s the last minute and I’m rushing.
Sunday (last night): Mommy-made lasagna, garlic (rye) bread, soup
Monday: Semolina Bread (from Bread: A Baker’s Book) and pressure-cooker stew
Tuesday (Ted late): Baked potatoes and roasted-roma-tomato bisque (Ted’s request)
Wednesday: Chicken wings – buffalo style this time (someone blogged about these a while ago and I have been craving them ever since!!!)
Thursday (Ted off, Vegan Vursday): Homemade bowties linguine in tomato sauce seasoned tinned diced tomatoes… with Sourdough Sicilian No-knead bread. Look how colourful!
Friday/Shabbos: potluck at the Silvers! And lunch at home – Elisheva has a friend staying over and has requested steak salad, which is now marinating.
