This is Naomi’s picture of a girl in ballet class. I think her illustrations have come along quite a bit since we started our doodles with Draw-Write-Now and the Pesach cartoons. She’s much more aware of facial expressions, as well as of limb placement. These things would have happened anyway, of course, but I’m impressed with the sophistication of this drawing, which shows a girl at the barre along with a fairly accurate reflection in the mirror behind her. I’m pleased.
